Miles' Landing

Despite being in the harsh land of Egara, Miles' Landing is a town is a thiriving agricultural land. Settled generations ago under the shadow of the aptly named mountain, the Verdant Spire, Mile's landing enjoys a year-round supply of water from the mountain's peak, enabling vast farmlands to produce a wealth of food for much of the region. While the mountain itself remains mostly untamed, with tales of fey kidnapping any who wander too deep into it's borders, the land around the base of the mountain is rich, lush crops and orchards for as far as they eye can see.

The town itself is generally bustling, as every day, more and more eager frontiersmen move in, all too happy to leave the endless wars of the north, for a more peaceful, quiet life. Trade in and out of the town is frequent, though with a two day ride to the golden road, can be sometimes delayed, so the town strives to be as self-sufficient as possible, with a local clergy of Seraphiel tending to the ill, local blacksmiths and carpenters doing their best to tend to the needs of the inhabitants, and local breweries keeping the townsfolk content in the evenings.
