Egara

The lands of Egara are less that of a singular nation, but rather that of a collection of individual communities living in a harsh and unforgiving land. The nations to the north have never considered the conquest of Egara due to its almost utterly unassailable terrain. The region is rife with dusty badlands, mixed with wild storms and sparse vegetation. The inhabitants of this land are hardy, working hard to make do with their circumstances, and are generally wary of foreigners who often mistake their poor living conditions as poverty rather than hardship. The opposite tends to be the case however, as, despite the region's harsh conditions, it is also rich in rare minerals, creating a strong trade bond between Egaran communities and their northern partners, who often import exotic and flavourful foods, something highly regarded by the locals.
