Campaign Setting Homebrew

This section of the site deals with the various campaign specific homebrew that has evolved with the Madius Campaign Setting.

Frostwind Virago 16 level Savage Progression:
This is a savage progression I created for the frostwind virago fey to be combined with my Optional LA/Gestalt houserule to have the creature be usable as a base class for players or NPCs alike and be more customizable to create more memorable characters.

Winged Template Savage Progression:
This is a savage progression I created for the Winged Template from savage species to be combined with my Optional LA/Gestalt houserule to have the creature be usable as a base class for players or NPCs alike and be more customizable to create more memorable characters.

Initiate of the Perfect Soul:
A slightly modified and refluffed version of the Jade Phoenix Mage, designed for the use of psions and martial initiators, based around the idea of reaching oneness with the universe.

Dragon Hunter:
Martial warriors trained and infused with the magic of Wyrmblight, an ancient dragonslaying artifact.

Paladin Variants:
Paladin Variants designed for use with the various Paragons of Madius. Each will have a code of conduct and some variant abilities from the standard extreme alignment paladins (justice, freedom, tyranny and slaughter).

Wordcaster:
The wordcaster is a class designed for use with the words of power subsystem from pathfinder. It was a class designed for use in the Sarona: Living City adventure, but could potentially be expanded beyond the scope of that adventure for use in other games. It combines the best of the sorcerer's spontaneous ability to cast wordspells, with the wizard's ability to learn as many wordspells as possible, but without a spellbook. The downside is, however, that wordspells are not learned upon leveling up, and must instead be sought, found and learned through the course of a campaign.

Storm Mage:
A frost mage variant, centered around electricity and weather magic.

Feats:
A collection of feats available as part of the World of Madius campaign setting.

Items:
A catalogue of magic items created in and for the World of Madius campaign setting.

These are less homebrew specific to the campaign setting, and more houserules that may be in use.

General Houserules:
General houserules that Chronos runs as a DM, including changes to existing classes/feats.

Optional LA/Gestalt:
A alternative way for GMs and players to use Gestalt and LA in their games in conjunction with players who choose not to. Designed for use from level 1, it is a higher powered option compared to standard LA, allowing the use of templates such as vampire and lycanthrope without crippling the player, but still making the setback felt. Requires the use of savage progressions.
