Samael, often portrayed as an lithe human wearing tight leather armor and a mask bearing an unnerving smile, is the patron of bards, rogues, acrobats, tricksters and, rarely, assassins. His followers love to have a good time, sometimes at the expense of others; they value skill above all else, and are oftentimes quite elitist. Many thieves guilds throughout the land pay homage to Samael, believing that in doing so he will grant them luck in their endeavours.
