Story:

Aravir Dúnedain's story begins with his father; happening upon a bandit raid on a caravan passing though his territory, Aramon Dúnedain drove off the attackers, but the damage was already done. All save for a young beautiful lass by the name of Sindra were killed and even she was gravely injured. Aramon took Sindra to his camp and did his best to nurse her back to health. However, as her injuries healed, she became sickened beyond his ability to care for, which forced him to take her to the nearest settlement to seek the aid of a healer. During their time together, they became very close and soon fell for one another. Upon her recovery, Aramon vowed to care for Sindra for the rest of his life and dedicate his every effort towards making her happy. To this end, Sindra's family dream was to begin life anew on the frontier and settle their own family farm. This was not something Aramon wanted, yet acceded to her wishes in order to fulfill his vow to make her happy, with the provision that the farmstead was at the edge of the community nearby his beloved forrests.

Aravir Dúnedain's history begins with tragedy at his very birth. His mother Sindra died in childbirth leaving him to be raised by his grief stricken father. Abandoning the farmstead as soon as young Aravir was able to walk on his own, Aramon sought to teach young Aravir as much about his craft & trade as he could in hopes that he himself would never have to face the sorrows and woes of the civilized lands. One particularly cold winter, Aramon himself became sickened, yet refused to travel to the settlement where he once sought treatment for his departed wife. He told Aravir “I've taught you all the basics you need to survive in the wilds here. You have the tools you need to make a life for yourself. Trust no one and always be wary. I go now to be by your mothers side. Be at peace with my decision and make a life of your own choosing.” With those parting words, Aramon Dúnedain passed, leaving his son to carry on his legacy. Aravir now makes his living as a scout and guide through the region. A meager existence, yet one that allows him the freedom to honor his father's memory and wishes.
