Ruthless, vicious, spiteful, these are all words that come to mind in scholars as they try to describe Glacius, the Lord of Ice. Few white dragons survive to adulthood in the arctic tundras of the north, their small size making them excellent prey for larger predators, but Glacius, once known by the inhabitants of the north as Tiny Spreek, fought for survival with tooth and claw. Every day was a struggle, but with each passing day, every kill, he grew stronger, larger, until it was he who was the apex predator. Taking on the name Glacius, he was unsatisfied with his small killing ground, so he began to roam the frozen north, in search of more fertile grounds, expanding his reach, when he happened upon a sight to behold. A towering colossus of ice making it's way through the countryside, a remnant of the chaotic, starspawned forces that once held dominion over Madius. Barely even noticing his presence, Glacius established his lair upon this beast, siphoning it's power for himself, growing in power until he decided that not even the endless expanse of the northern wastes was enough for him.

He had heard tales of a dragon to the south, proclaiming himself as the Lord of Ice, a title Glacius swiftly decided was one that should belong to him, and so he directed his walking lair south, a whirling tempest of ice freezing the waters as it walked, until he entered the lands of Cryszaliaxth, the Silver Maiden of the South, and the Dragon Lord of Ice. She had heard tales of the towering abomination from the north, but as it marched upon her lands, even her great power stood little chance against it as Glacius directed it from the skies above. Seeing her only opportunity being to contest Glacius directly, she took to the skies, but having never lived as the underdog, she was ill prepared to face Glacius in one on one combat. Her first thoughts were to barrage him with spells, but the sly white dragon cared little for magic, and had wreathed himself with antimagic, closing the distance between the two of them with alarming speed, and once the battle came down to physical strength, Glacius had already won. Ripping out the throat of his rival without even a single word being exchanged between the two, he let out a bestial roar, for all to hear as their queen fell from the sky, and all knew immediately that they looked upon the new Lord of Ice.
