Pithius, the Dark one, a naked, cloven hoofed, six fingered man, is the lord of the lower plane and rules with an iron fist. He is often portrayed surrounded by corrupted lovers in chains. Despite his rule of the lower plane, he desires more power and greatly covets Asmodeus' occupation of the Circles of Hell. His followers revel in the glory of maim and rape, and never get along with each other unless under the wing of a greater cult leader. Even then the relationship between his followers is tenuous at best, while not causing pain to others, they constantly plot against each other to gain the Dark One's favour.
