Story:
Her story begins as a protector and hand-maiden of sorts to a well respected Samurai.
The Beginning
The minors of the town she was protecting have not been heard of. Herself, Samurai-san, a monk and another warrior set of into the mines, to investigate what has happened.
During this investigation they found a Necromancer that was plaguing the towns water supply with what is now known as 'Shadow Lands Taint'. After defeating the vile man, Ayaki took some of his regenerating essence and smashed it with Jade destroying it permanently.
A long trip back to the Dragon Clan main territory the travelers came under siege by a strange tainted creature that wanted the Necromancer's carried bag of Shadow Lands Taint.
Ayaki managed to take the creature out, but doing so it went inside her. She left the travelers and went back to her Clan.
The Return Home
Ayaki struggled to get home as her mind was punished for housing the creature as she traveled back home for help. Once there, they removed the creature after a discussion on using it for power and protection or removing any form of Taint from her.
The Clan knowing she will not stop at fighting these creatures once returning back to the Dragon Clan, they gifted her a Jade Sword that she can use to strike them down.
